Overcoming Vaginismus

In this episode we are talking about a condition that many women struggle with. Vaginismus is an umbrella term that describes issues with penetration - any kind of penetration. So this can be tampons, a medical exam or sexual penetration, solo or with someone else. 

Having vaginismus can be a very challenging experience that carries a lot of shame and embarrassment and is often kept secret and not talked about. But the reality is that is much more common that people think. And so we want to help normalize the conversation around vaginismus and talk about why it can happen and what women can do to manage the condition and support themselves with care and compassion.
